Happy Valentine’s day!

The Avett Brothers are one of my favorite bands at the moment, and it is because of the up-beat folksy songs such as this one, “Jenny and the Summer Day” that came off their first full-length album, “Country Was” (2002). It kind of reminds me of a Buddy Holly song – “Peggy Sue Got Married”, as well as The White Stripes acoustic gem, “We’re Going to be Friends“.
