Vehicles & Animals is the name of the debut album from Athlete, released in 2003. It is also the name of one of the songs off the album, a ballad that turns the hands of time back to the simplicity of your youth. When released, Vehicles & Animals was welcome and fun change in sound.

“Cos we’ve got our vehicles and animals
So we’re gonna be alright”

I figured I would march into the New Year with a little challenge, and I’ll post an A-Z of artists through the rest of January. I could do with some help though, I’m short of ideas for ‘I’, ‘X’ and ‘Z’.

   How about “Zombie” by The Cranberries or “Zoot Suit Riot” by The Cherry Poppin’ Daddies?

   And…ahem… “I Am the Walrus”, quite possibly one of the best Beatles songs EVER.
