Party like it's 1999
The end of another decade – it seems like only yesterday we were partying like it was, actually, two thousand zero zero. Remember Y2K? That came and went as quickly as the millennium bug… a technological meltdown that created mass panic amongst the less technologically inclined of proportion of the population. Was Prince some prophet from the 1980’s – his lyrics were almost spot on in predicting such a non-catastrophe;
“But when I woke up there this mornin’, could’ve sworn it was Judgment Day
The sky was all purple, there were people runnin’ everywhere:
But then again, what is this line all this about?
“I got a lion in my pocket and, baby, he’s ready 2 roar
