In 2002 The Crash Test Dummies (a Canadian band that was briefly popular in the early 90’s with the song “MMM MMM MMM MMM”) depart on a path perpendicular to their regular output of Folk-Rock, and reproduce a version of White Christmas that would probably have given Bing Crosby nightmares. Brad Roberts, The Dummies lead singer delivers a painfully slow version that has to be taken with a grain of salt. Hey, at least it’s different, and I gladly welcome a change after listening to more than enough substandard Holiday music on the radio for the last month.
