One of my friends tweeted aboout this video the other week, which is a graphical representation of Beethoven’s famous 5th Symphony.  It is, for me, a very occasional listener of Classical music fascinating to watch how the different instruments within the orchestra interact with each other, sometimes playing jointly, sometimes in answer to another note, sometimes in solo.  When is the Beethoven: Rock Band edition coming out?

This is probably one of the greatest pieces of music ever composed, and I doubt it will ever be bettered.  From start to finish it took Beethoven four years to write!

Very cool! This reminds me of PDQ Bach! If you’re looking for another way to enjoy this particular music, you might try his version. You’ll never listen to the 5th the same way again. :) The music starts around 1:36 if you wanna skip ahead, although the intro is amusing too. “They seem to be running out of steam and it’s getting a little lethargic down there…” :)
