Beatles Week is here! All week, we are celebrating the 9-9-09 launch of “The Beatles: Rock Band” edition and the release of their digitally reamastered studio albums. “I’m Looking Through You” is taken from the 1965 Rubber Soul album. This is a Lennon/McCartney song that was written mainly by Paul McCartney who was writing about a breakdown of his current relationship at the time with Jane Asher.
George Harrison’s twangy guitar sound is my favorite part of this song, the guitar and percussion making this one of the ‘rockier’ sounding Beatles records. Check out my other Beatles related posts here.
