Jet released an album this week – it totally skipped me by like a Kangaroo in the Outback too. She’s a Genious is the standout track on the album – I did listen to it about a week ago, and I’ll admit, I thought the video to be very retro. It even made me laugh – I think it was pretty late at night. Anyway, this track is totally what you would expect from Jet – catchy tempo, bounce-your-head beat, simple old-school sound & lyrics. But what is with the My Sharona riff? And the ZZ Top-lookalike masked BMX-er?
